The school council carried out many spot checks to see what teachers were leaving on when they weren't in the classrooms. 
They then spoke to teachers about turning things off when they weren't in use. 
The school council have coloured labelled all electrical devices around the school. Green they can turn off whenever. Yellow they have to ask. Red they can't turn off. 
The school council then check these electrical items at break and lunch times and if some children stay after school they check then aswell. 
The school council have held a power up layer down day! They did this in the Autumn term.
