We have been told we should not be adding plug in timers to photocopiers and smartboards so IT have set up auto switch off mode on all photocopiers meaning after 30 of no use they will sleep and then at 5pm weekdays they will auto turn off and turn back on again at 7am.  We will still switch off at the wall on weekends and holidays to stop the auto restart each day.
