As the weather got warmer, our energy monitors decided to check each classroom check for energy efficiency. The heating was turned off a number of weeks ago so the children were happy to see windows open to allow air flow. They decided that as the heating was off, this was not a waste of energy - unlike if it had been happening in winter!

The children noticed a lot of lights were on so they relaunched their switch off campaign and asked all classes to check that blinds were up and windows were clear of paper and displays. This allowed for maximum natural light in the classrooms!
