This week Trinity School took part in an Active Travel Week promoted by Frome Town Council . The children were encouraged to cycle, walk or scoot to school. If they had to drive, then we encouraged them to "park and stride" at least 5 min away from school. Everyday the children were asked to fill in their individual cards to indicated how they made their way to school. There is a prize for the most active class. During the week, some of the children took part in a walking bus on the way to school. We also enjoyed a bike MOT afternoon and our children got to pedal the smoothie bike to make some delicious drinks. On Friday, the whole school ran a mile for the "WHY" charity. We are hoping that all of these activities will encourage the whole school to travel in a more sustainable, active way.
