As part of our topic 'There is no planet B' this term - all classes are focussing on an element of waste and looking at how waste can impact our Carbon Footprint.
Year 5/6 are looking at food waste, Year 3/4 are looking at Energy and climate action. Year 3 are looking at the impact of fast fashion on the environment and Rec and Year 1 are looking at plastic waste and the impact on the oceans and waterways.
PS3 classes have looked in detail about fossil fuels and the impact they have on global warming. They are investigating the impact in different ways and some classes have started to look at the Energy Sparks graphs to see how much electricity we use as a school. They have discussed more sustainable alternative.
