we are implementing a holiday switch off , this will include turning off our heating in the 6th form and main building down to a minimum, frost protection is in place .

we also will be turning off our over door heaters in 3 different rooms and have reduced already how long we run them , mainly just for the lunch time .

we also are turning off our instant hot water boilers off in every staffroom and classroom that has them on a Friday to save over the weekend  .

we have had a lighting survey done recently and have found many light sensors that were not working correctly and this was keeping lights on all night as they were not turning them self's off 
we are now making sure every computer monitor in I.T classrooms is off on Fridays and also the holiday hours
